An increasing number of companies organize their work in projects. This approach was originally only used in selected industries: architecture, construction and information technology, but many companies elsewhere are discovering its benefits nowadays.
To ensure maximum efficiency, this model requires the use of project management software. With the growing needs and requirements of PM’s and all other people involved in projects, we are observing an increasing demand for this type of solutions on the market.
In response to these needs TROI GmbH designed a project management tool, while Fingo was charged with the task of developing it. TROI web application is a comprehensive, modular system which supports multiple aspects of project management. It offers project planning, budget and time-consumption monitoring, process analysis, optimization of daily work, reporting, resource planning and liquidity management. It also supports sales processes management from offer preparation to project accounting and invoicing.
The planning and work processes are carefully designed and optimized. The system has an API for integration with other software used in the TROI user’s company.
The application provides an easy to use yet efficient report generation mechanism. The biggest challenge for us was to develop a flexible tool that would aggregate big volumes of data from multiple locations and periods, quickly and conveniently for the user.
The tool is prepared in several versions for both teams of several people and groups reaching up to 1,000 users. The application is currently used by about 650 small, medium and large companies. Among them are design and architectural firms, advertising agencies, consulting businesses, and photographic and film studios.
